The effect the sessions with Anna have had are amazing! I have always been aware of my strengths however, I also assumed that because I was good at it then everyone would be, not in an arrogant way but because I never saw what I do as something impressive or difficult. Anna has helped show me that in fact, that is not true, as much as others are able to do what I do, they wouldn’t do it the same way or necessarily as thorough as I would. The difference realising this has had on my confidence, belief in my own abilities, understanding how much I do and what I bring to the table has not only shown in work but also in my personal life. There is still work to be done but that’s the point of self development, there’s always work to do. Working with Anna has given me an amazing foundation and opened up possibilities and ideas that I would never have considered without her support and constant reassurance in who I am and what I am capable of.
I look back at the person I was before my mentoring with Anna, and she is almost unrecognisable to who I am now. Anna always tells me to be grateful to that version of me as I wouldn’t be here now without her, so I am and I’m also excited to see what my future self will look like because of the confidence and belief I have gained working with Anna.
