I grew up being driven, ambitious and hard on myself. That meant that I looked very successful on the outside, but never felt like the inside matched up – I never felt I was good enough as a mum, partner, or business owner. That’s even after setting up a number of highly successful businesses - I was the first homeware retailer to sell on Amazon with my profitable basketware company, making over 250k in my first year. And I created a Bridal business from nothing serving a gap in the market – brides who feel overwhelmed, apprehensive, and nervous. That’s on top of working as a contractor and business development director in the legal sector, a Financial Services contractor, and a Financial Planning Manager.

 

All that drive also led to me gaining degrees in Psychology. But I still didn’t feel it was enough. To be honest, I didn’t feel like I was enough, and I didn't feel like I was doing enough, I felt I could do more. One day I decided this had to change and I was going to have to be the one to do that. I just didn’t know how. So, I hired a coach, worked on my mindset, and haven’t looked back since.

 

In fact, I loved the coaching process so much that I trained to become a coach. Through this process I realised that I'd actually been coaching and mentoring people unofficially for the last 15 years. My journey led me to being invited to become a Results Coach and Business Results Trainer for the Tony Robbins Corporation. And now I’m working with other driven, ambitious people who are hard on themselves and can’t see the wood for the trees, helping them become calm, confident and in control. Oh, and I’m in an amazing loving relationship and a much happier mum now too.
